Groesch and Longos Orthodontics

Meet Dr. Longos

Dr. Longos received his B.A. and D.M.D. degrees from Southern Illinois University and was elected into the Phi Kappa Phi Honor and Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honorary Dental Societies. He received the American Academy of Oral Medicine Award. He underwent his specialty training and received his M.S. degree in orthodontics from St. Louis University where he was class valedictorian and received the Kenneth J. Marshall Merit Award (1991). Dr. Longos is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, the G.V. Black Dental Society and the Orthodontic Education and Research Foundation. He completes continuing education courses regularly to stay informed of the latest in technique and procedure innovations.

Dr. Longos (Dr. Tom) is an active church member and is passionate about the sports of tennis and golf. He is an avid St. Louis Blues Hockey fan. Dr. Tom especially enjoys spending time with his wife Cathy and chasing their two young untamed sons from activity to activity.

William Groesch, DDS, MS

Meet Dr. Groesch

Dr. Groesch is a graduate of Springfield College (A.A.), the University of Illinois (B.S.D. & D.D.S.) and St. Louis University (M.S.D. – orthodontics). He is a member and past president of G. V. Black District Dental Society, member of the American Dental Association and the American Association of Orthodontists. Dr. Groesch is Illinois State Specialty Board certified as well as a fellow of the American Board of Orthodontics. Furthermore, he has served on the boards of the Illinois Society of Orthodontists and the Foundation for Orthodontic Research. Dr. Groesch has been in the exclusive practice of orthodontics in Springfield for the past 25 years.

Dr. Groesch and his wife Lu Ann enjoy travelling, any activity involving the outdoors, all sports and family. They are actively involved in their church and Dr. Groesch is a board member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. The Groesches have two children and their black lab, Gabby.
